Governments and funders need to know what climate change will cost a farm, a coastline or a national budget, and which response pays back. I lead the vulnerability and adaptation assessments behind national reports to the UNFCCC, the Caribbean's regional Technology Needs Assessment centre, and the field research behind weather index insurance for fishers and farmers.
